Brief: “Using only 24 screws, no glue and maximum 6 meters of 12x35mm pine, create a stool by tomorrow. It should explore simple techniques (only cutting and screwing), *sustainability and constrained material.”

- A quick workshop within a sustainability course, focused on simple techniques and constrained material. When prototyping rapidly, the idea of creating a kitchen stool in both an iconic and indexical sense developed. I rushed home to grab my dutch oven. With only 24 screws, no glue and a few meters of 12x35mm pine, the “Le Creusit” was created.
